The Little Cafe Down the Street from our Home

Tim Writing: This is a typical meal in P.P. at a cafe. This is kind of an upscale cafe. Meal you see is $2.70 US, or about ($Reil$) 11,500 (Cambodian). This is just one thigh and leg (No Breast of Chicken anywhere) Rice, and a few cucumber slices and a greenish tomato. The little dish is a vinegar type of coleslaw. This tiny dish is some sweetish chili sauce. The really cool thing is the Carmel tea in the pitcher. You set it on top of the cup and the tea drips down out of the bottom. You lift up and the flow stops. Pretty cool... and they keep refilling it. Of course it gets weaker as they keep putting hot water in, however it is tasty. The stuff that looks like a urine sample in the glass is actually a really weak room temperature tea. It is fairly tasteless, but is a quick way to get the new bugs into your intestines when you first arrive. Of course, you also have the wonderful toilet experience to go along with the initial bowel adjustment later that night. O.K. - T.M.I!
Just a quick post before heading to bed! Love to All! God is faithfull, compasionate, and very very patient. Enjoy His presence in your life Daily... and have some fun!

  2. The best thing you can do is allow your system to get used to food. It may be uncomfortable for a little while, but better adjust now then wait until you need to be top of your game. :)
